Zwillinger Wulkan is thrilled to announce that Javier Torres has joined the firm as a partner, effective February 10, 2025. Javier brings a wealth of litigation experience, having most recently served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Arizona, where he represented the United States in complex civil matters, including employment discrimination, Federal Tort Claims Act cases, immigration litigation, and tribal matters.
Prior to his government service, Javier spent nearly a decade at Stinson LLP where he built a distinguished practice in commercial litigation, employment law, and class action defense. His experience includes successfully representing businesses in high-stakes disputes, defending employers in wage and hour claims, and providing strategic counsel on compliance and risk management.

Javier earned his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the UCLA Law Review, and his A.B. in Political Science from Stanford University. He is deeply engaged in the legal and civic community, serving on the Maricopa County Commission on Trial Court Appointments, the Board of Directors for Girl Scouts of Arizona, and as an Executive Board Member of Los Abogados Arizona Hispanic Bar Association
