Lexi J. Eisa

Lexi Eisa's practice is centralized in civil rights litigation, claims against governmental entities, federal Indian law, and civil litigation.  She is passionate about crafting novel ways and opportunities to uplift Arizona communities.

Over the past several years, Lexi has worked on numerous pro bono cases to provide, ensure, and protect civil and human rights.

Fueled by a burning passion for equity, Lexi has dedicated her time to molding herself into a weapon for the people and communities of Arizona.  During law school, Lexi focused her legal studies and work in the public interest field, particularly in constitutional law and civil rights law.

Experience

Lexi co-founded the Middle Eastern Law Students Association, led the Homeless Legal Assistance Program, co-authored an article on human rights law derogations in Africa, and hosted public aid events for human rights and humanitarian crises while attending law school.

Furthermore, in a case of first impression for Arizona, Lexi successfully argued and won a claim against the State of Arizona for violating Arizonan's First Amendment Rights.  The case resulted in access to health care and disability records, ensuring both transparency and accountability for the government.

While attending law school in Washington D.C., Lexi worked as a fellow for Amnesty International USA in which she engaged in political and legal advocacy for the human rights of sub-Saharan Africans, including drafting legislation and advocating to and with Congress.

Lexi has also worked with the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law's Criminal Justice Team.  While interning, Lexi worked on a case for female prisoners' rights, including their right to healthcare and adequate standard of living.
