Experience
During her law school career, Jacqueline was an active member of the Women's Law Student Association, serving on the board as the transfer representative. She focused her studies primarily on the litigation process, earning a Trial Advocacy Certificate. Additionally, Jacqueline participated in moot court, where she prepared a brief for the National Appellate Advocacy Competition, and subsequently argued the brief in front of judges at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. In her favorite experience of law school, Jacqueline participated in the Post-Conviction Clinic, where she assisted prisoners with innocence claims and clemency petitions.
Jacqueline has gained invaluable experience prior to becoming an attorney. She interned at the United States District Court for the District of Arizona under the Honorable Stephen McNamee. Additionally, she interned at the ACLU, where she assisted efforts in public interest litigation. Finally, Jacqueline spent a year as a law clerk at a civil litigation defense firm, further broadening her litigation expertise.
