Benjamin Rundall's Successful Argument to Court of Appeals Stays Destruction of Historic Properties in Tucson

In November 2024, the outgoing Pima County Community College Board voted to destroy historic hotels owned by the College located in Tucson’s Miracle Mile District.

Benjamin Rundall, on behalf of his clients, moved to block the demolition of the hotels, arguing the Board’s decision was barred by Arizona’s Preservation Laws.

Although the board initially ruled against his clients, the Court of Appeals heard his argument and stayed the demolition until a decision can be issued.
