Zwillinger Wulkan Attorney Benjamin Rundall Argues Before Ninth Circuit
— Urges the Court to Uphold Denial of Qualified Immunity to Dishonest Cop
On November 6, 2023, Benjamin Rundall appeared in front of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals arguing that a lower court’s ruling denying qualified immunity to a police officer should be upheld when he suppressed information material to a client’s criminal case.
Zwillinger Wulkan client Frances Salazar spent nearly two years in prison after information about the arresting officer’s dishonesty was withheld from her. According to a case called Brady v. Maryland, that information should have been provided to her before her criminal trial and resulted in her release from prison once uncovered.
